10 THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME

  1.  No matter who's house I go into, if I have to use the restroom, I always look behind the shower curtain to make sure no one is there.

  2.  I am a HUGE Oklahoma State fan!!

  3.  I am a certified lifeguard!

  4.  Not only am I a certified lifeguard, I have a special facilities and equipment certification which means I can lifeguard the ocean if I wanted to!

  5.  They don't pay me to work here, I have to pay them.

  6.  One day I will marry Reba McEntire, Shania Twain or Sara Evans.

  7.  My degree has nothing to do with broadcasting at all.

  8.  I have a bald spot on my leg from burning ants with a magnifying glass.. apparently you're supposed to stop once the ant is dead. No one sent me the memo!

  9.  I have accidently stabbed myself in the eye with scissors when I was kid, I should have been blind, but now have 20/20 vision. The good Lord wanted me to see for some reason.

  10. When I was trying to figure out what #10 should be on the list, I asked my dad if I had ever done anything productive in my life that I could tell people about.. He started laughing and walked away. Glad to know my family loves me!

• Oklahoma City is a great place to live because... This is the only city/state where if we hear "Do we have Val on the Gentner?" We know exactly who's talking! Love ya, Gary!
  
• My favorite Oklahoma City hangout is... Harkin's Theatre. Granted, I don't have much time to go out and watch a movie.. but I sure do love it when I get the opportunity.
  
• When I want to have fun, I... take about 200 rounds to the gun range and have a little shooting fun!
  
• My favorite country song is... "Smokey Mountain Rain" by Ronnie Milsap.
  
• If I weren't in radio I would... be a weatherman! You can be wrong everyday and still wouldn't get fired. Sounds like a plan to me..
  
• First concert I ever attended was... Gotta go back and think on this one.. I want to say it was a Reba McEntire concert back around '94. I think... I've slept since then.
  
• My favorite 'kid thing' that I haven't given up is... blowing bubbles in my drink with a straw when I'm at a restaurant. Don't judge me.. you know you do it too!
  
• My brush with greatness was... meeting Reba McEntire!
  
• My favorite car is... 1968 Chevy Nova.
  
• If I were invisible for an hour, I would... I would go into a conference room where a group of executives were meeting and I would randomly turn the TV on and off. For some reason I think they would get mad.
  
• My favorite all time movie is... National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. I can watch that in the middle of summer and still get a kick out of it.
  
• When people ask me if I Twitter, my answer is... @ryanontheradio... Follow me?
  
• My favorite restaurant in Oklahoma City is... Nic's Grill off 12th & Penn or Slim Chickens off 89th & Western.
  
• I can't make it through the day without... my iPhone. I'll admit I'm addicted to it.
  
• Something that few people know about me is... I am nationally certified CPR/AED/First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens Instructor. Need someone to teach you? Call me!
